Serenity Massage Therapy and Wellness Spa was born from the shared vision of Arvin Perez and Abbie Perez, a couple whose diverse professional backgrounds uniquely positioned them to create a thriving wellness sanctuary. The spa began as a heartfelt venture driven by their desire to help people find relief from physical pain and mental stress through the healing power of massage therapy.
Abbie Perez, a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), and Registered Laser Technician, has always been passionate about providing hands-on care to improve her clients' well-being. Her medical training as a nurse gave her a strong foundation in understanding the human body, while her expertise in massage therapy equipped her to offer holistic treatments that relieve both physical discomfort and mental fatigue.
Arvin Perez, with a degree in Recreation Therapy, has long been involved in healthcare, working as a Recreation Therapist and becoming a Registered Japanese Head Massage Therapist and Skin Care Specialist and Registered Laser Technician. His knowledge of therapeutic techniques that enhance patients’ quality of life laid the groundwork for his later endeavors in wellness. However, Arvin’s entrepreneurial spirit and creative talent also led him into the world of events, where he became known as a skilled event coordinator and stylist, transforming venues for weddings, birthdays, and other special occasions.
Despite their demanding careers, both Arvin and Abbie felt a growing pull toward creating something that could combine their shared passions for healthcare, therapeutic services, and personal care. Even with their busy lives raising their two children, Lorenzo and Isabella, they were determined to bring their vision to life. Recognizing a gap in the market for a space that provided professional, medically informed massage therapy in a relaxing, client-focused environment, they began to dream of opening their own spa.
In pursuit of this dream, the couple decided to merge their talents and experience to establish Serenity Massage Therapy and Wellness Spa. While Abbie used her skills as a licensed therapist to offer high-quality treatments, Arvin's business acumen, combined with his creativity from event coordination, helped shape the spa's branding, operations, and welcoming atmosphere.
The spa became a reflection of their values—a place where clients could not only receive expert therapeutic treatments but also experience a sense of tranquility, care, and connection. From offering a variety of massage therapies to constantly innovating with new services like the Japanese head massage, Serenity quickly gained a reputation for excellence in client care and professionalism.
